With the use of subject, composition, and lighting, this series highlights the art form of charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent. 'Drag' has always been an expression of being yourself and creating an identity for a person. With the photos, I used documentary-style portraits to convey the seriousness of the art form as it continues to be heavily discussed in the news. The portraits and the performance photos represent that this issue needs to be addressed and that drag is not a problem in our society.
